Darla was our TDI - Certified Therapy Dog. Much requested at Central Maine Medical Center, she visited several times a month. Jo-Ann had seen her jump onto a bed at the patient's request and stand motionless with all four feet in an area the size of a six inch circle avoiding all the I.V.s and machinery just to be close enough for the patient to pat her. With her agile nose, she could find the area of injury as well. Her sense of humor was strong and she loved to dress up and goof with people too!
Streaker is our newest TDI - Certified Therapy Dog. We're confident she will fill Darla's shoes (paws!?!) well.
